To Obtain an Arizona Real Estate License, a person must:
Complete 90 Hours of pre-license education from an ADRE-Approved Real Estate School, and pass the corresponding final exam administered by the school.
Complete a contract writing course pursuant to A.R.C. R4-28-402.E.
Be fingerprinted using ADRE-approved fingerprint cards, and file those fingerprints with the ADRE (and pay the associated fingerprinting fees).
Pass the State Real Estate Exam.
Apply for a real estate license with the ADRE (and pay the associated fees).

To Renew an Arizona Salesperson's Real Estate License, a person must:
- Complete 24 hours continuing education from an ADRE-Approved Real Estate School. Continuing education must include at least 3 hours in each of the following categories:
- Commissioner's Standards
- Fair Housing
- Agency Law
- Real Estate Legal Issues
- Disclosure
- Contract Law
- Apply for license renewal with the ADRE (and pay the associated fees). License Renewal Applications can be downloaded from the ADRE website.
To Renew an Arizona Broker's Real Estate License, a person must:
- Complete 24 hours continuing education from an ADRE-Approved Real Estate School. Continuing education must include at least 3 hours in each of the following categories:
- Broker Management Clinic (Fulfills Commissioner's Standards Requirement)
- Fair Housing
- Agency Law
- Real Estate Legal Issues
- Disclosure
- Contract Law
- Apply for license renewal with the ADRE (and pay the associated fees). License Renewal Applications can be downloaded from the ADRE website.
